Learn how to leverage Social Media to improve business

MOUNT PLEASANT, Michigan (May 18, 2012) - The Mid Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center (MI-SBTDC) will present a workshop focusing on social media considerations for area business.  "Social Media Revolution" is a seminar that will help business owners better understand how to leverage social media to improve their business success.

As a sponsor, Charter Business wants to help businesses create everyday victories with their online brand.  The seminar will be held at the Mid Michigan Community College Doan Building, located at 2600 S. Summerton Rd, Mt. Pleasant, MI  48858.  The session will take place Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The course is specifically targeted to CEOs of small business that would like to know more about social media's business implications in the Mid Michigan business community.   

Scott Gillespie of Selling U will lead discussion on topics including:

*              Appropriate Use of Social Media

*              Building an Online Brand

Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center  (MI-SBTDC) is a statewide business assistance program that provides one-on-one counseling, training and research support for Michigan small businesses. The Mid Michigan Region is hosted at Mid Michigan Community with support from Central Michigan University Research Corporation.
