Who should attend the 2015 Michigan Broadband Conference?

A.

The 2015 Michigan Broadband Conference is open to any person interested in learning more about the role of broadband technology as it relates to workforce development, economic development, education, libraries, as well as the role libraries play in communities, at the intersection of broadband and technology.  Below is a list of suggested attendees:

  • State and local government officials
  • Economic development representatives
  • Education leaders
  • Library representatives
  • Workforce development representatives
  • Technology associations and organizations & providers

What is the cost of parking?

A.

Several convenient parking facilities and meters are located within walking distance of Lansing Center.  For more information about parking around the Lansing Center, visit https://www.lansingcenter.com/about/parking-directions/parking.

Will we be able to have access to Internet during the conference?

A.

Lansing Center offers a wireless-only Internet system for exhibitors, vendors, and attendees at a fee.  Internet service may only be puchased the day of your event; it is not available for order prior to your arrival.

How do we determine what breakout session to attend?

A.

Breakout sessions continue to be finalized.  Ahead of the event, Connect Michigan will distribute a survey to all registered attendees.  Registrants will have the opportunity pick their preferred breakout sessions.  Panels fill up quickly, so it is important to sign-up!
